How to win at pool

So the following conversation sent me into hysterics and made me lose at pool tonight.

Housemate: I was reading about this study, where they were trying to find out if a rubgy ball would move if everyone blew towards it at the same time. Because you know when you take a penalty in rugby, and the wind moves the ball, and it doesn't go over the posts. So the study got lots of people to blow at the ball when it was kicked and they looked at how far it would move.

Pause.

Housemate: Well actually, it didn't do anything.

Pause.

Housemate: But it was a really interesting study.

Hysterical laughter. Jenny promptly pots the black ball and loses.
